Description
Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe's biggest game reserve and is best known for its large herds of elephant and packs of wild dog, as well as many other species. The landscape includes desert sand, sparse woodland, grassland and granite outcrops. The big cats are regularly sighted and it's a bird watcher's paradise with over 400 species to look out for. The local Hwange primary school and community project is a delight to visit. This short safari and cultural experience is ideal to combine the adventure activities of Victoria Falls, the wildlife of Hwange, and the culture of the local communities. |
