From its source up in the mountains above Ceres, the Breede River meanders for 300 km’s before it deposits its water into the mighty Indian Ocean. During its long journey to the coast, it provides life-giving water to one of South Africa’s largest Wine regions – the Breede Valley.  The winding channels and playful rapids make it the ideal river-rafting destination.  This river also boasts amazing bird life and ample fishing.

Our river lodge is situated just outside Worcester, only 90min from Cape Town (N1).

• Arrival time: 09h00
• The trip will start at our river lodge. 
• Coffee/Tea and rusks will be served on arrival.
• After a short safety speech, we will begin our river trip (approx. 3hrs).
• Lunch will be served back at the lodge (Menu: Lunch C)
• Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at our riverside pool.
• Depart by 17h00.

Day 1:

• Arrive at our river lodge from 17h00.
• Check-in to your pre-booked accommodation.

• Lunch will be served back at the lodge (Menu: Lunch C).
• Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at our riverside pool.
• Depart by 17h00.

Day 1:

• Arrive at our river lodge from 17h00.
• Check-in to your pre-booked accommodation.

Day 2:

• After a short safety speech, we will begin our river trip (approx. 5hrs).
• We will have a picnic-style lunch on the banks of the river (Menu: Lunch D)
• Arrive back at the lodge.  
• Our guides will prepare supper on an open fire (Menu: Supper E)

Day 3:

• Enjoy a fresh breakfast (Menu: Breakfast B)
• Launching from the lodge, we will explore the second stretch of the river (3 hrs).
• Lunch will be served back at the lodge (Menu: Lunch C).
• Spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing at our riverside pool.
• Depart by 16h00.

• Arrive at our river lodge from 17h00.
• Check-in to your pre-booked accommodation.
• We spend 5 nights and 4 days rafting on the beautiful Breede River.
• 2 nights Lodge accommodation and 3 nights tented accommodation.
• All equipment, meals and accommodation provided.
• The only commercially operated 5 night/ 4 day trip on our stretch of the Breede River (only 90 minutes from Cape Town).

- No card facilities are available at the river lodge – cash payments only.

All Trips Include:
Rafting equipment, guides, in-trip transport, meals and accommodation where applicable. Children under 18yrs receive a 10% discount, Children under 12yrs a 25% discount and Children under 6yrs a 50% discount. Group discounts are available on request.

Equipment & Guides:
We make use of 2-man inflatable rafts (crocs) with cooler box, dry bags, personal floatation devices and paddles included. The inflatable rafts are easy to control, safe and loads of fun for paddlers of all strengths and ages.

River guides with the necessary experience and knowledge of the river will guide you on your day of adventure. No previous experience is needed and only a moderate level of fitness is required. We believe in responsible and sustainable tourism development and have the utmost respect for the beautiful African continent and its rivers. Please help us to keep our rivers clean and pristine.  No glass bottles allowed on river.
